Sometimes the best way to run business in Poland is to become a Pole.
It comes at no surprise, that it is easier for citizens to run businesses in their own country. Holding Polish citizenship can help you avoid additional fees and formalities that foreigners have to deal with. It also makes it much easier to conduct certain types of business activities, that are normally strictly regulated for foreigners (for example, the purchase of real estate).
Because Poland had a large Jewish population before the Second World War, the country now has a special citizenship procedure for Jews, whose ancestors were Polish. This procedure makes it easier and quicker for Jews with Polish backgrounds to acquire citizenship.
